North Miami BrewFest is a one-day festival featuring some of the best breweries in South Florida and their one-of-a-kind beers. Our mission is to contribute to brewing science education and innovation for the craft brew industry, brewpubs and home brew organizations.
FIU CHAPLIN SCHOOL OF HOSPITALITY & TOURISM MANAGEMENT
North Miami BrewFest began as a student project led by hospitality management students at the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at FIU. Proceeds from the North Miami BrewFest support the FIU Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management and its Brewing Science program.

North Miami BrewFest Experiential Learning Program
The North Miami BrewFest Experiential Learning Program serves as a bridge between academic learning and real-world experiences, promoting student success by facilitating hands-on, practical learning experiences for students in Florida International University Hospitality Management Program, promoting hands on learning in the areas of event management, culture of social responsibility and civic engagement among students, faculty, staff and the surrounding community.
Student Opportunities
Students play a major role at all our events at multiple venues throughout South Florida. Student roles vary from greeting guests to providing logistics and operational support. While all students will be required to speak English fluently, certain opportunities require additional skills or qualifications such as culinary skills or holding a valid US driver’s license.

FREE GUEST PARKING
All parking in the City of North Miami is free. Street parking is also available. Free parking is available in the Trinity Church (12685 NW 7th Avenue) and Javan Lumber (12721 NW 7th Avenue) parking lots, just north of The Nomi Village. It is a leisurely 9 minute walk from the parking lot to the festival main entrance.
FREE GUEST TROLLEY
North Miami BrewFest is offering a free ADA trolley this year. There will be two trolley stops for guests, one at the main entrance to The Nomi Village and one in between the free public parking lots at Javan Lumber and Trinity Church, which are just three-and-a-half blocks north of Nomi Village.

When and where is the event?
The North Miami BrewFest is on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM in NoMi Village 12351 NW 7th Ave, North Miami, FL 33168.
Do I have to pay for Parking?
Nope. Parking in the City of North Miami is totally free. View a parking map.
Can I bring my own food & drink to the Event?
No. Outside food and drink are prohibited. Your ticket price includes all food and beverage samples.
Can I bring my children to the Event?
Can I bring my pet to the Event?
NO PETS ALLOWED. ONLY SERVICE ANIMALS PERMITTED. Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. For more information, please refer to the U.S. Department of Justice website.
What happens if there is bad weather?
The North Miami BrewFest event will happen rain or shine! All tickets are non-refundable.
What is the dress code?
What items are prohibited at the event?
Prohibited items include but are not limited to: outside food and beverages, drugs, weapons, backpacks, large bags, and suitcases. Click here to view our bag policy. NO PETS ALLOWED, ONLY SERVICE ANIMALS.
I have dietary restrictions; can you accommodate me?
We cannot guarantee that participating chefs and restaurants will prepare dishes without common allergens including nuts, dairy, gluten, etc. or that there will be vegetarian options available. If you have any other questions regarding your specific dietary restrictions, please email us at brewfest@fiu.edu.
Can I bring my own seating?
No, external seating is prohibited at the event. There are high-top tables and limited seating throughout the event. Guests with General Admission tickets should expect to stand. VIP tickets are available and include access to additional limited seating in the VIP Lounge.
